The Premier Essential Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) program provides mechanical breakdown coverage for a variety of major automotive components and can supplement or extend the original manufacturer’s warranty.

This VSC is designed to respond efficiently to evolving manufacturer’s warranty coverage changes, align extended eligibility mileage to match the industry’s trend towards longer warranty terms, and provide simplified pricing.

The Premier Essential VSC is supported by an eRating system which assists the dealer in obtaining all available plans for that vehicle and owner with accurate pricing in real-time.

The Premier Essential VSC also offers several additional benefits including: roadside assistance, substitute transportation reimbursement, and reimbursement for trip interruption expenses.

Underwriting Guidelines
All covered components must be functioning properly at the time of warranty sale.

• New vehicles: Not previously titled and has less than 12,000 miles on the contract purchase date
• Extended eligibility: Does not qualify as new, but has at least 1 month and 1,000 miles remaining on the new vehicle factory warranty.
• Certified Pre-Owned: Certified by the manufacturer and carries a certified pre-owned manufacturer’s warranty or carries a dealer limited warranty administered by PDS.
• Used: Current plus nine model years only and does not fit into any category above.
• Several deductible and surcharge options may apply.
