PremierID is a unique identity theft product. In the event that an identity is stolen, the customer can contact the customer advocacy group (Guaranteed ID) who will help restore the customer’s credit back to “pre-event status.” Pre-event status refers to the credit score and credit status of the customer before the identity theft took place. The advocacy group helps save the customer the time and money that would be spent working to restore their credit.
In the event that the advocacy group fails to return the customer back to “pre-event status” within six months, the customer has the choice of continuing with the advocacy group or moving forward on their own and being reimbursed up to $25,000 for out of pocket costs.
This product is intended to be a “giveaway” by the dealership for 3, 4 or 6 months with a consumer “buy-up" for multiple years available for purchase.
Versions:
Single Coverage: Covers only the contract purchaser.
Family Coverage: Covers contract purchaser and dependents (spouse, domestic partner and children (up to the age of 25) who reside at the address on the contract. |
