The PremierGUARD Plus theft deterrent system effectively deters theft using either a UV sticker or a unique window etching technology. Purchase of the PremierGUARD Plus theft deterrent system is accompanied by a Limited Warranty which provides for the payment of a benefit amount in the event the vehicle is stolen and not recovered. With PremierGUARD Plus, the consumer receives additional benefits such as reimbursement for towing, trip interruption and substitute transportation.

This product is available using two technologies to identify the vehicle in the event of loss or theft.

UV Stickers
A body panel label with a traceable identification number which if installed cannot be removed without leaving an invisible imprint of the number that can be read with an ultraviolet light. The UV Stickers are attached to the vehicle on the inside door panel of the driver and passenger sides, under the hood, and wherever else desired.

Window Etch
A traceable alphanumeric code that is etched onto the vehicle’s windows.

Underwriting Guidelines
Dealerships must market the PremierGUARD Plus theft deterrent system to all new and pre-owned vehicle purchasers.

• The consumer may be required to maintain comprehensive insurance coverage on the vehicle in order to be eligible under the Limited Warranty.
