VSC REFUND/BUYBACK QUICK REFERENCE

Contract Completion

  1. All fields must be completed, including, but not limited to:
    • Complete customer name, address and phone number.
    • Complete vehicle information including New/Used, Model Year, Make, Model, complete VIN and mileage at time of service contract sale.
    • Complete Service Contract information including date of Service Contract sale, Term months, Term miles, Service Contract purchase price, Service Contract company, Service Contract number.
    • Failure to complete all required fields may result in rejection of the contract.
  2. Minimum term months and term miles must be as follows:
    • New 60 months, 60,000 miles;
    • Used 48 months, 48,000 miles.
    • Service contracts not meeting the above minimums will be rejected.

Submission of Business

  1. Submit all new business by the 15th of the month following the effective date of the business. New business received more than 90 days after the written effective date may not be accepted.
  2. Remit payment with all new business. Make all checks payable to Great American Insurance Company.

Claims

  1. Direct all Claim calls to: 888-316-2139
  2. Direct all Claim FAXes to: 858-522-6204.

Reporting

  1. You will receive an Accounts Receivable Report and a Dealer Confirmation Report each month that business is submitted or that a balance is carried over.
  2. The Accounts Receivable Report reflects all cash transactions as it relates to new business and cancels. Any debit or credit balance is reflected on this report. Please use any available credit balance on your next submission of business. Please pay any debit balance with your next submission of business.
  3. The Dealer Confirmation Report is a detailed listing of all transactions for the previous month. It will include new issues, cancellations and rejections.

11th Annual Summer Agent Meeting- June 18-20, 2008
Laguna Beach, CA
